Loving the Kids Clubs and Cafes Near Camp Humphreys
Even with lots of toys and a small yard, a toddler (or toddlers) are not always easy to entertain for hours during an average day. If you’re looking for indoor fun, here are a few of the places that we have visited. Even though I have a couple of favorites, I’ll try to give you an objective list of pros and cons. Hopefully, you can select one that best fits your needs.
Please keep in mind that children and adults are expected to wear socks while in these kid clubs. Most of them will have lockers near the entrance for your shoes. Some locations may have socks available for purchase, but it’s best to be prepared. I also have skid-free socks for my little because we have wood floors at home. I would recommend them if you have them.
If you’re trying to find an indoor activity on a poor AQI day, most kid clubs have air purifiers. However, Dinosaur World and Main Street Cafe do not have air purifiers, so these two are better for rainy days activities. As with many restaurants and cafes in Korea, water dispensers are available but often have little paper cups. Therefore, I recommend packing the diaper bag with a kid’s cup and snacks.

Hangul Address:
경기도 평택시 비전2동 830
Description:
Located on the 11th floor of the New Core department store, this is a large play cafe with many different things for the kids to do. Food is available for purchase also.
Located on the 11th Floor of the New Core Department Store, is this cute little play space for toddlers, Cocomong Kids Land. They have a very creative magnet-fishing area, a couple of small slides, a small race track, a wood-block “sand” area, a plastic ball pool, trampolines, a play kitchen, and more. There is a diaper change station inside. However, if you need to use the restroom, then you will have to go outside of Cocomong. This can feel like a hassle if you have to leave your kids unattended or when you have to pack up your belongings and child just to go to the restroom.
There’s usually only one person working and they will stay behind the register /cafe area. The cafe has coffee drinks, kids drinks, and a small selection of food options. There are seating areas around each play station, including trash receptacles and hand wipes. However, all food must stay in the cafe area. Food is not allowed in the play area, which is the case for all kids cafes. There are also a few toys available for purchase. Don’t forget to take care of your parking validation and fee before you leave.
PRO of this location is that you see your child from almost any location, except the cafe area. So if you just want to sit while your kid(s) run free, then you should have a visual at all times. Cocomong also offers a military discount!

Stunning kids cafe where parents can feel fancy and kids can have fun. They also have a very nice menu. They have gone all out for kids AND parents. Click on the Naver listing below for more photos.
ChouChouBonBon is located on the 8th floor of Reikeu Tower in Seosabol. This is a gorgeous kids club, ideal for toddlers, babies, and parents who need a coffee break. Of all the kid’s clubs that I have been to, this one is the only one with a worthwhile beverage and food selection. The view of the park from this location is gorgeous. The decor is also lovely and while the kids may not notice, it has an upscale city charm.
The attendants also regularly clean play areas AND interact with the children. They may even sit down and play with them. Some attendants may give your child snacks or hugs when you leave. While this may be uncomfortable, it is best to be prepared ahead of time that this may occur.
As for playing equipment, they have all the usual stuff, small ball pit, wooden-sand-pit, small trampoline, slide, kitchenette, etc. Limited space for kids who want to climb and run. Baby play areas are sectioned off so the teeny ones can play safely.

Wood-bit-sand pit, ball pit, and kitchenette for the little ones. Trampolines are fun for all. Much like the Champions in Starfield, you can leave your child there and shop for the couple of hours, if youre feeling brave. Water fountain, changing station, lockers, and kids toilets on the inside. Adult restroom on the outside. You may also purchase food, drinks, and toys, but options are limited.
Located in the First Village outlet shopping area is a large kids club, Champions. It is ideal for toddlers and small children, especially those with lots of energy and love to climb and run. There are trampolines, wood-sand-pits, ball pits, climbing nets, a boxing bag, etc. Virtual reality games for slightly older kids or young gamers. And there is a kitchenette for those who like to playhouse.
Much like the Champions at Starfield Mall, you can leave your kid(s) here for a couple of hours while you shop. You get a sticker with your child’s name and your contact information when you register your child. The child should wear the sticker while in the play area.
There’s a lot of parking lot which always has spots available. There’s also a cafe inside with a limited menu of food and beverages. If you really need a latte, there’s a cafe on almost every floor of First Village Shopping Mall. However, I recommend the one on the top floor, in the food court.

There are video games, bounce house slides, blocks, a wood-block sandpit, a normal sandpit, coloring stations, dinosaur rides, and a “live” dinosaur show.
The hours vary on weekends and weekdays but usually once every other hour. The show alone makes this experience worth the trip. However, this place is full of stationery dinosaurs that move and rise at you as you pass by. There are no food or drink options. You get a stamp as you enter, so if you need to explore the mall for food or drink, then you can return to the dino fun afterward.

Description:
Huge space, tons of photo ops, kids play area, 4 floors, very detailed and unique
Since I describe myself as a toddler mom and coffee fiend, it’s difficult for me to be objective about Main Street Cafe. This place is now probably one of my favorite cafes in Korea. Once you get past the New York City theme and cafe on the first floor, which also has bakery items and shakes, you’ll find a kid’s play area around the corner, which includes kid restrooms and changing area.
There are tables and booths around the play area. Parents can take a break and still monitor their little ones. There’s a baby play area and a toddler play area. The toddler side has a slide, tunnels, and toys. If you are a parent who spends a lot of time on Instagram, then you’ll love the picture zones. There are various themes on the other floors, including a 2D black and white area, graffiti stairs, and a rooftop with a stairway to the sky.

If you don’t mind driving a little further, our favorite kid’s cafe, Ball Bear Park, in Cheonan is worth a visit. This location is HUGE! I recommend this cafe for baby, toddler, and elementary school age children. This cafe includes pretty good kid menu with BHC chicken, ball pit, climbing area that circles the entire location, race cars, boxing, video games, slides, sledding, trampolines, train (runs every hour at minute 20), sky ball (runs every hour at minute 40), fishing, softball, soccer. If you need the kids exhausted for nap time, this is the place to prepare! The building has underground parking, restaurants, GS25, and a beautiful cafe with a skydeck on the 47th floor, Townhall.
Final Thoughts on Kids Clubs Near Camp Humphreys
In conclusion, no one said parenting was easy. However, one of the things I’ll miss about Korea when we leave will be all of the kid clubs. They each have their own entry fee so probably not a daily activity. Though they are definitely worthwhile when you need to be indoors and you’re tired of watching your child run laps around the couch.
