Would you like to find great cafes for moms near Pyeongtaek, Cheonan, or Asan? LeaDan has some options for you!
Moms Love Cafes
As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) who loves the cafe scene, I’m often drawn to the cafes with a playground or park nearby. It’s honestly exhausting just persuading a single toddler to get in or out of the car when they have other plans. From the moment my toddler wakes up until just before we prepare them for bed, there’s one song on repeat, “Let’s play play play and play play play.” I’m thinking of our single parents or stay-at-home moms and dads as I write this blog. All of the listed locations will include only cafes with unique drink selections AND either a playground or park in walking distance so you may relax with your coffee while your littles run free.

Sinjeong Lake has many cafes and restaurants but this one is new, has a lake side view and roof top seating area, very modern architecture. Food items that are mostly sweet.
Cafe Notes: Cafe Annac, along Sinjeong Lake, is across the street from a sandy playground, though there are cafes all along the lake. Sinjeong Lake has a sculpture park, waterpark, courts, and swings, too. Would recommend getting a coffee at any of the surrounding cafes and going for a walk around the lake.
Cafe Notes: Cafe Humphreys has a new children’s play area with a large yard for dogs to play. Great stop for brunch and lunch. They also cater events.

While this is not simply a cafe, Byeolbit Garden Space has a cafe with a great drink and food menu. During the day, you may walk around the garden with just a drink purchase. The garden truly comes alive at 1800, when all of the lights turn on, then you’ll have to pay the entrance fee.

Cafe Notes: 1985 Coffee also doesn’t allow kids on the 2nd floor BUT there’s a kiddie train and the view is amazing from either floor. With both indoor and outdoor seating, this unique retro vibe is a trendy spot for families. Lots of photo opportunities. Extensive bakery options. This cafe doesn’t have a park nor playground but I’ve noticed that the kids still enjoy it.

A big mall filled with lots of things like play areas, food courts, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, movie theater, etc.
Cafe Notes: Honestly, Starfield Mall has lots of awesome cafes. I still haven’t tried them all but I do often grab a drink and sit next to the play area in the 2nd-floor food court. This area is for 4yo and below. While there are restrooms, including a kiddie restroom, in this food court, it’s not conveniently next to the play area. For more active or older kids, there’s also Champions and Sports Monster. There’s a kids library, arcade, water park, and kids crafts and painting.
