Mallipo Beach is open year-round with different things to do depending on the season. During the winter, many go to this area to enjoy seafood and long walks, readying, and resting. In the summer, Mallipo is a hip beach where young Korean go to hang with friends and enjoy the sea.
Sleeping

This is possibly our favorite thing to do at the beach beyond swimming. We go to the beach to do nothing. Never underestimate the power of planning nothing and letting yourself relax for the day.
Enjoying Friends

The best thing about Mallipo is going with friends and wasting your day talking, playing games, and giving each other a hard time. Nothing better than a day wasted with people you love.
Surfing

There are a few surf shops at Mallipo Beach and at least one rents boards year-round. For much of the year, you will also want to rent a wetsuit with your board. Keep in mind, the surf is often quite small but can get substantial during strong weather.

Rainbow Surf
Mostly this is a coffee and surf shop. They might have other things depending on how they feel. They offer lessons and board rentals.

Founded by a guy from Pyeongtaek, MLP Surf is a destination for the cool kids. You can rent surf boards, eat a burger, shop, grab a drink, or eat an ice cream.

Paddle Boarding
If there aren’t waves on the day you visit, you might want to rent a paddleboard and spend the day cruising the long beach.
ATV and Bike Rentals

If you want a fun way to see the area around Mallipo Beach, you can rent different forms of transportation such as 4-wheelers, electric bikes, peddle bikes, and more.
Arboritum

The arboretum/botanical garden at Mallipo Beach is a destination all its own. The perfect spot to wander around and get lost in the beauty of nature. Remember, the garden will change year-round as new plants bloom. Visiting the area during different seasons brings new kinds of beauty.

Rent Tubes and Floating things

There are numerous spots on and off the beach for renting tubes, rafts, and other things to float on. They range from 10,000-30,000 a day. They are an excellent way to spend the day enjoying the sea. You can choose any place that you see. Just have it returned by around 4:30 – 5:00 pm.
Viking and Carnival Games
During the warm months, Mallipo Beach has a number of fun carnival rides and games peppered throughout the area. This can be a delightful addition to your day if you delight in classic things.

Basketball and Soccer
There are public basketball, tennis, and soccer fields for those that would like to play some sports while at the beach.
