The cafes located in Cheonan tend to focus on being comfortable urban retreats with tasty snacks and desserts. They are smaller in size and will often have something special they feature like pink drinks, cats, a special dessert, or something else that helps them stand out on Instagram. I usually choose spots that not only look good but also taste good and calm my brain after a long day of exploring.
The Parking Situation in Cheonan
Traffic and parking in that Cheonan tend to be a true nightmare. That’s just facts. Take this into consideration if you want to drive. Give yourself plenty of time to fight traffic and search for a parking spot. Truth is, I never recommend driving within the city of Cheonan. Instead, take a subway or train to the city and then walk, taxi, or take a bus to your location. Driving is a huge hassle.

Through South of Seoul, Ms. Rivers-Woods works with independent volunteers, non-profit organizations, businesses, local & federal government, universities, and US military organizations to develop solutions to support English speaking international residents in rural South Korea.
Additionally, Ms. Rivers-Woods founded the South of Seoul smart phone app available for Google Play and iPhone. The app provides information a resources for those living and traveling in South Korea.
When she isn’t in South of Seoul development meetings or working her day job, Ms. Rivers-Woods loves to be outside at skate parks, the beach, or playing in the mountains.
