Accuracy and Reliability
- We prioritize factual accuracy and ensure all information is thoroughly researched, referenced, and verified.
- Our content is based on direct experiences, government sources, credible publications, and expert insights to deliver reliable and up-to-date information.
- In cases of evolving topics or updates, such as policy changes, we proactively review and update our content. However, this doesn’t mean content doesn’t become inaccurate at times. However, all data sourced through AI is reviewed, fact-checked, and corroborated with trusted sources to ensure accuracy. - AI for Content Development: For writing and content creation, AI assists our team by generating outlines, offering vocabulary suggestions, and providing translation support for Korean and English terminology, particularly for complex, technical, or culturally specific topics. This allows us to deliver clear and accessible content that resonates with both Korean and international audiences. In fact, it’s our policy to put all our articles through AI to look for missing, inaccurate, or incomplete information.
- Human Oversight and Editorial Review: AI is used solely as a supportive tool; every article, guide, and blog post is written or thoroughly reviewed by our editorial team to ensure that it aligns with South of Seoul’s standards of quality, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity. We do not rely on AI-generated content without human oversight. Simply putting a prompt into AI and posting it un-reviewed or un-edited is against our organizational policy. Especially since AI-created content about Korea contains serious inaccuracies, fallacies, and biases that don’t support the South of Seoul mission.
- Transparency and Accountability: We believe in transparency regarding AI’s role in our content creation process. By disclosing our AI usage, we aim to build trust and assure our readers that the quality, authenticity, and integrity of our content remain at the forefront.
