8 Luge Parks In South Korea

There is something weirdly freeing about zipping down a hill on a little cart. Don’t miss the chance to feel like a kid again.

About Luge in South Korea

Luge courses are popular in the warmer months and many will close during the cold winter months when the mountains are being used for skiing and snowboarding. You can contact 1330 to ask about when a particular luge park will be open.

Welli Hill Resort Luge Park

Ski resorts and mountain areas across the country have discovered the joy of luge parks. Each year the summer luge options in South Korea expand. Some courses are simple and relaxing while others are expansive and more thrilling. Some even offer night courses with stunning lighting.

The Skyline Luge Parks

The biggest and most epic luge courses tend to be at the Skyline Luge resorts. Check out the following YouTube videos to get a feeling for what the Skyline Luge tracks are like.

Luge Tickets and Pricing

The luge courses in South Korea usually offer single and multi-run passes. We recommend getting a few trips on your pass because the luge run down the mountain is quite fun. If you have trouble understanding the ticketing signs, you can either the Papago Translation app image/camera feature or text a photo of the ticket prices to 1330 to ask for their help.

Pass prices vary based on the luge course and location. Expect to pay at least 20,000 won to get onto the Luge slopes and then the price will go up a few won for each additional run. Totally worth it! It feels just like being a kid again.

There are age limits that will be different at each course. This is because it’s not safe for the little tots to be racing down the hill in their own little car. To confirm ages call 1330 and they can help you with these details.
