Large, modern, and popular Korean medicine hospital. This is not a small clinic. They have parking the basement and they do validate. No English speaking reception so take Papago. Also, they reception desk is on the 3rd floor if we remember right.

DOSOL Korean Medicine Hospital is a large, modern, and popular Korean traditional medicine hospital that provides services in Korean. The hospital listens to your rehab and pain management needs and creates a treatment plan for you. Treatments usually take an hour and will generally involve a number of techniques such as acupuncture, cupping, heat, and massage. You can either use Papago or take a friend if you need to overcome the language barrier. No appointment is necessary. The hospital does not specifically work with international insurance companies but can provide a detailed receipt.

Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. They have an English speaking office manager. A friendly, professional alternative medicine clinic that specializes in acupuncture. They use big needles. You should know this. When you hurt this style can hurt a bit but you will also feel pretty amazing when its over. This is where we go for the really bad pain. They validate parking for the buildings garage.

Gaeneoji Korean Medicine Clinic is a small and very traditional clinic popular with many international residents. The clinic offers front desk staff who can easily assist with registration and facilitate the interview with the doctor. This clinic offers bee venom treatments which many find useful in facilitating healing. No appointment is necessary and you can usually be in and out in 30-40 minutes. They do close for an hour around 1:00 pm for lunch. The clinic does not specifically work with international insurance companies but can provide a detailed receipt.

Dr. Kim works at the Kyunghee Bareun Clinic on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. He speaks excellent English and offers chiropractic, acupuncture, and therapeutic shots. This is where you want to go if you are looking for something different and more intense than other places may offer. South of Seoul volunteers who have lived in Korea for an extended time regularly use this clinic. Technically this clinic is in Osan City and not Pyeongtaek.

Taking care of yourself is an important part of living abroad. Managing both culture shock and pain at the same time is nearly impossible for the brain to manage gracefully. When you take care of yourself you also take care of your loved ones by freeing up the mental space to be present during your time in South Korea.
