The great part of visiting cafes in the countryside is that you don’t have to worry as much about traffic and parking. We are pretty sure that’s part of what makes the popular. Additionally, the dark countryside skies create the perfect romantic atmosphere next to the rivers and little lake in the area. Seriously though, these cafes are a total mood. What’s a good point about each of these date night cafes in Anseong?
We are going to give a special shout-out to Blue on Blue which has some of our favorite desserts around. Soho Gallery Cafe has an incredibly romantic waterside seating area, Cafe Cote Loc is weird and wonderful, Cafe Emerald Greens is enjoyably pretentious and has terrible parking for its size, and Cafe Mell Mell is where all the cool kids like to be seen on Instagram.

Keep in mind, going around the lake to visit Cafe Cote Loc, Cafe Emerald Green, and Cafe Mell Mell can include some traffic drama because it’s two-way traffic on a tiny one-way road. Expect some waiting time. Cafe Blue on Blue and Despacito Cafe should have no parking and driving drama. Remember, that a summer weekend that is a holiday can make any spot hard to drive to or park at. Always keep this in mind.

Beautiful lake view, very romantic. Both outdoor and indoor seating on the first level. Only sweet bakery items. Kids not allowed on rooftop.
Access and parking can be slow and complicated since it’s cars going two ways on a one lane road around a lake.
