The Joy of Restaurants with Play Areas
If you’re anything like me, then dinner is a constant juggle between child care and self-care. One of the things I appreciate about Korea is that dinner time and playtime don’t have to be mutually exclusive. In Pyeongtaek and the surrounding areas, we have a surprising number of restaurants with play areas.
Families living near Camp Humphreys and Osan Air Force base enjoy visiting these different restaurants. You will dine together in the main area and when kids get restless they can go to the play area to release their energy. Some of the play areas are quite expansive while others are quite small. No matter the size, they offer an excellent way for parents to enjoy eating while their kids enjoy playing.

As a Cultural Liaison and Content Creator at South of Seoul, Ms. Yee focuses on creating content for families interested in traveling and those with toddlers. She is especially interested in opportunities to share her Native Hawaiian background and empower others to be cultural ambassadors.
Prior to joining South of Seoul, LeaDan worked as a High School Speech Teacher and Adjunct Communications Professor. She specializes in Public Speaking, Argumentation and Debate, Team Management, and Event Planning.
