Who is looking the 10 best restaurants in Seojeong-dong?? Undoubtedly, these spots near Osan Air Base in Seojeong-ri will bring flavor to your life. Therefore, you must go try them stat.
About Seojeong-dong
Seojeong-dong is in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The family-friendly neighborhood neighbors a few universities. It also has a busy traditional market and an active subway station (서정리역) that connects to cities such as Cheonan, Suwon, and Seoul.
Different communities may refer to Seojeong-dong by different names. It spreads over a rather large area with the two most popular sections often referred to as “near Songtan City Hall” or the “near Seojeongri Station”. However, these two sections of Seojeongri are far enough away from each other to not be easily walkable. Therefore, we have divided the (blog name) into two sections.
FYI, you may also hear the “Songtan City Hall” area called just only “Songtan” or”Near immigration”.
About the Restaurant and Social Scene
Since Seojeongri is near a few small universities, you may see a lot of college kids out on the weekends, especially near Songtan City Hall. That section of Seojeongri is mostly bars and nightlife and has very little western food. Not the spot to find burgers.
Songtan City Hall area is a late-night spot for all of us looking to burn off steam after work. When it’s not a pandemic, it’s an area many of us spend all night out goofing off and enjoying friends. We will grab drinks outside the CU, then grab dinner, then a cafe, then a bar with more snacks, then a bottle shop, then nori-bang. We start at 6pm and before we know it it’s 5am. That’s just how it goes on Fire Fridays.
Great Restaurants Hidden in the Area
Even though Seojeongri doesn’t have tons of fancy dining options, many of our favorite places are hidden here. The following list makes up the neighborhood places my friends and I go when we want to enjoy a night out. You are looking at a list of where we spend a lot of time talking about our days and planning our futures. Some we just found and others we have been going to for over 8 years. We hope you enjoy our neighborhood haunts as much as we do.
