We passed a very exciting mark today and we are going to take a minute to celebrate. Today our first neighborhood passed the its 100th listing!!! Do you know what else that means? We have over 1,000+ listings in the South of Seoul app spread across three areas: Asan, Cheonan, and Pyeongtaek!!!! This week we expect two more neighborhoods to cross this mark.
It might not seem like a big deal, but it has taken over three years to gather and enter all of this information. Based on the average time it takes to enter a listing, that’s over 335 hours of just data entry alone, not to mention the hours of research it took. (Actually, let’s not think about that number at all. A little too painful.) Every single one of these entries has been hand entered by volunteers with a heart for the community. We know things aren’t perfect, but we honestly do our very best.
Today it feels amazing to have reached this point. To have neighborhoods crossing the 100th listing mark. We might not be making any money with all this work, but at least we feel like we are starting to make a difference. Thank you go all of our users, readers, and supporters. Your kind words keep us going.
